Will NTR become an active young politician? The answer is ‘No’ since Junior NTR does not want to spoil his career at this juncture, say his confidants. He will be busy till next year with three movies including one with Mirchi fame Koratala Siva. It is true that he enjoys lot of following among the TDP activists. But his entry into politics just before 2014 elections will be a suicidal decision. He is still considered to be a novice in politics. Junior NTR who has just crossed 30 years has lot of age to utilize his image for direct political mileage.
It has become an open secret that he and his father Harikrishna did not have good relations with Chandrababu Naidu. Harikrishna claimed that he tendered resignation to Rajya Sabha seat in support of United AP movement, but the actual reason is he wanted corner his brother in law who has given a letter in favour of Telangana.
Currently TDP is in bad shape. And the party’s prospectus are also bleak for the next general elections. Junior NTR cannot change the fortunes of the party immediately. So he will adopt wait and watch policy to get control over the party affairs. He is expected to concentrate on 2019 elections and build the party from grass root level. Will Babu and Lokesh allow him to do it? It is very difficult to get right answer at this moment.
