Rajinikanth’s Tamil film Lingaa, faced heavy losses at the box office back in December 2014, but it seems that Rajinikanth is bearing the brunt of that failure even now. As it so happens, the film distributors who had purchased the movie on minimum guarantee have not been sufficiently compensated even now.

Rajinikanth had agreed to pay back Rs 12.5 crore to the distributors, but they only received six crore in compensation. Now, the distributors want Rajinikanth to step in an settle the issue or they would staging a protest before his house.
Meanwhile, there is some good news for Rajinikanth fans who were worried that his next film Thalaiva won’t have him romancing heroines. According to reliable sources, there is no truth to these rumours and the filmmakers are in touch with various leading heroines and would announce the actress’ name in a fortnight.
