In fact on the opening day, the critical ratings too were mixed but the film is braving all the criticism and emerging a winner. Shatamanam Bhavati has collected $ 400K plus in its first weekend and is all set to emerge as the biggest hit for Sharwanand in the US. Express Raja released on Sankranthi last year under similar circumstances is the biggest success for the actor as of now.
Producer Dil Raju’s trust on the overseas audience to connect with the content seems to have paid off. If this upward trend is continued, the film could have a solid second weekend too. It will mean Sharwanand will have a second success in a row.
