‘Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana’ stars Shiva Kandukuri of ‘Choosi Chudangaane’ and ‘Meet Cute’ fame in the role of a detective with loads of luck and, if the song ‘Kaka’ is anything to go by, attitude. The fun-filled song is enjoyable, thanks to how it has been conceived as a non-serious ‘hero’ introduction song.
‘Kaka’, written by Suresh Banisetti and composed by the talented ‘Baby’ music director Vijay Bulganin, introduces the comical protagonist in an irreverent fashion. The unhurried rural backdrop ensures that the languid vibes exuded by him fit the bill.
Rahul Sipligunj’s singing comes with an ironic tone as if he is quite sarcastic about the titular character, who might be inept but believes he is superior to Sherlock Holmes in intelligence.
Written and directed by Purushotham Raaj, the film is produced by Snehal Jangala, Shashidhar Kasi, and Karthik Mudumbi. Its release date will be made official soon. The film also has a socio-fantasy element and involves Mythology as a crucial element.
