Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest film “The Goat Life” is scheduled for release on the 28th of this month, simultaneously in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. Adapted from Benjamin’s acclaimed novel “Goat Days,” the movie is helmed by celebrated director Blessy and financed by the Visual Romance banner. The distribution rights for the Telugu States have been acquired by Mythri Movie Distribution Company.
A pre-release media event took place today in Hyderabad, attended by lead actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, director Blessy, Hollywood star Jimmy Jean Lewis, and producers Y Ravi Shankar from Mythri and Shashi. During the event, Prithviraj shared his excitement about transitioning from playing the royal King Varadaraja Mannar in “Salaar” to portraying a slave named Najeeb in “The Goat Life.”
He also highlighted the film’s long journey from conception in 2008 to its release in 2024, expressing gratitude towards Mythri Movie Company for their support in distributing the film across Telugu-speaking regions. Emphasizing the film’s significant place in his career, Prithviraj noted its basis on true events and assured that the technical excellence and emotional depth of “The Goat Life” would leave audiences thoroughly satisfied, hoping it resonates well with everyone.
