Skanda marks the coming together of Ram Pothineni and mass filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu. The film is now set for its Mass theatrical debut on the 15th of September.
The latest news is that Skanda has done excellent non theatrical business. It has done Rs 98 crores non theatrical business.
ZEE5 holds the Hindi theatrical, OTT, and satellite rights of the film. They’ve spent Rs 35 crores on these right. The audio rights are with Junglee Music who’ve paid Rs 9 crores for the film.
The real deal is Telugu satellite and OTT rights. Star Network spent Rs 54 crores on the OTT rights. Disney+ Hotstar are with the OTT rights of the film.
Skanda has done Rs 98 crores non theatrical business and this Ram starrer has entered the profits zone. The theatrical returns are added bonus for the film.
