All the accused in 2G Scam got acquitted of all charges by a Special Court and this seems to have instilled confidence in the Political Corrupt Bosses. Mining Baron Gali Janardhan Reddy who had spent about four years in jail finally came before the media after 2G Scam verdict.

After spending in jail and exile, Gali gave his first interview to ABN Radhakrishna whom he warned of sending to jail during his Prime. It seems like Gali gained the confidence that he can override the judiciary like how it happened in the 2G case.
Interestingly, Radhakrishna asked the same question if 2G case verdict has given him the confidence to come out and it has to be seen what Gali will say for this. On the other side, there is a great despair for anti-corruption crusaders with this judgment.
There is a strong sense of belief that Modi government had ensured a favorable verdict in order to foster ties with DMK in the next elections. After Jayalalithaa’s demise, Tamil Nadu is likely to go into DMK’s fold. Recently Modi went all the way to Chennai to meet DMK Chief Karunanidhi.
