The government of Andhra Pradesh proposed forming a technical committee to examine the stalled works in the Amaravati Capital City region.
This committee would recommend how to move forward with the stalled works in the capital city region.

It would identify the problems in the capital city region and suggest necessary steps to resolve those issues.
Chief engineers from the R&D department, VMC, APCPDCL, ADCL, and APCRDA, and a representative from the Vigilance and Enforcement Department would be part of this committee.

Chief engineers of APCRDA and ADCL would act as convenors for the works of CRDA and ADCL respectively.
The committee would submit a report on a total of nine aspects. It is expected to examine the current situation and give a report within a month.

The committee would review the stability condition of various buildings in the half-constructed stage. They would also consider the recognized inputs given for the construction of these buildings.
The technical committee would also estimate the losses incurred for the works of electricity, communication, and pipeline that were laid for the road, drainage, and water supply.
The committee will examine the material quality and durability of pipes, iron, and other raw materials that have not been used for the last five years.
Wherever repairs are needed, the committee would mention them. The committee would provide standard guidelines on where to restart the stalled works.
The committee would also review the claims from various contract companies and recommend them to the government.
