Flexies erected by Jana Jagarana Samiti in Vishakapatnam last month during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tour became a sensation of sorts. The slogans on the banners – ‘Rajadhani Leni Rashtra Mukhyamantri Gariki Swagatham – Suswagatham’.
The catchy slogan and the banners all over the city embarrassed the YSR Congress government big time. The pictures of such banners also went viral on social media and Whatsapp.
Later, we have seen ruling party leaders covering the entire city in blue and green (YSRCP Colours) with Pro-Jagan slogans which only exposed YSR Congress further.
Now, Jana Jagarana Samiti put up another set of banners that are creating a similar impact.
“Amit Shah Ji, Save Vizag” is the new slogan highlighting the issues like Land Mafia, Mining Mafia, Ganja Mafia, Cricket Bettings, Murders, and Kidnappings. These banners appeared overnight and have embarrassed the ruling government once again.
These banners just two days after the kidnap of the family members of the local MP in broad daylight made a lot of sense.
But then, YSR Congress leaders are saying that this is an attempt to disrupt the peace of the city and are asking the Police to register cases against those who put up these banners.
Vizag is supposed to be the strong ground of the YSR Congress as they claim because of the Executive Capital plan. But it looks like the people are not trusting the ruling party enough.
