Andhra Pradesh government seem to have decided to take Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy owned Sakshi media head on. Municipal Minister Narayana and Agriculture Minister, Pullarao sent legal notices to Sakshi Newspaper and Channel. They have alleged that Sakshi maliciously tried to malign them using false stories.

Sakshi had alleged that ministers have bought huge parcels of land in Amaravathi on Binami names. The Ministers have demanded a public apology and huge compensation for defaming them. YSR Congress is planning to rake the issue in Assembly and is demanding a CBI inquiry in to what they call the biggest scam in the World.
We have already seen the Chief Minister refuting the claims of Sakshi with official figures. While Sakshi alleged that TDP Leaders have bought about 25000 acres of land on Binami names, the government figures proved that the land transactions occured after TDP coming to power do not exceed 9000 acres. Sakshi may be in trouble if the government strictly pursue the case.
