Andhra Pradesh Government employees are highly dissatisfied with the PRC (Pay Revision) the government gave them. This is the most disappointing pay revision ever they say.
They have already threatened to go on an indefinite strike on this issue.
The employees unions are forming into a JAC and will serve a strike notice to the Chief Secretary on 21st of this month if the G.O.s pertaining the current PRC are not taken back.
Andhra Pradesh administration is already in enough problems due to the bad financial conditions.
Moreover, we are in the middle of a pandemic. Employees going on a strike at this juncture will be a big danger for the state. It has to be seen if Jagan Mohan Reddy will make an attempt to pacify them or address their concerns.
In close to three years of ruling, Jagan always tried to deal dissent with iron fist. But this time, he is dealing with Lakhs of employees and their families who form a big chunk of voters.
Also, they will play a crucial role in the election duties. So, the question is if Jagan can really say – Thaggedhele!
