Arguments in Vijayawada ACB court in Chandrababu’s arrest case ended.
The arguments went on for a long time from 8 AM in the morning and lasted for around 7 hours.
Supreme Court Senior Advocate Siddharth Luthra argued on behalf of Chandrababu. Additional AG Ponnavolu Sudhakar argued on behalf of CID.
The judgment is expected in a couple of hours.
In case, Chandrababu gets remand, the Government is making arrangements to shift him to Rajahmundry Central Jail.
If Chandrababu gets an adverse judgment, his lawyers will approach the Honorable High Court requesting for an urgent hearing. Since it is a holiday today, it is up to the High Court’s discretion to give or not give.
Chandrababu’s lawyers are hoping that the court will reject the remand report and that will ensure his release.
Sakshi and Blue Media spread rumors that Chandrababu was made the A1 in this case but CID named him as A37 in the Remand Report. Along with Siddharth Luthra, Chandrababu Naidu also argued his case trying to establish it as a clear case of political vendetta.
