Coronavirus scare is gripping the entire World. The total number of confirmed cases is inching towards 20,00,000. The contagious virus already claimed around 1,25,000 lives. People across the globe are waiting for a cure or vaccine to get rid of this menace.
Until then, experts say that self-isolating at home without contact with other people is the only way out to save ourselves. However, a woman from Charlotte, North Carolina who is isolating herself for three weeks is tested positive for COVID-19. She suffers from an autoimmune disorder and so, she had kept her distance from others as a precaution, including her husband who has been living in a separate room.
What should worry us is that she suspects getting infected from a bag of groceries delivered to her door. She claims to have not even touched the woman who delivered the groceries and that means she contracted the virus from the packaging material or the groceries inside.
People living in various cities across the globe including the United States have been relying on Doorstep deliveries to keep themselves safe. That means even that is not safe. We should be taking special care in handling the packages we get daily and properly disinfect them. Really Tragic Times we live in!
