2014 Elections are round the corner and all the parties are getting ready with their Armours. What is going to be the biggest weapon for the parties in the next election? For TRS, it is going to be the sentiment and BJP, it is Modi. What about Congress, TDP and YSRCP. Analysts believe that ‘Loan Waiver for the Farmers’ is going to be the biggest weapon for any party in the coming elections. Farmers particularly in the coastal region suffered a lot this year with consecutive cyclones. A confidential report to the goverment also reported a big increase in the farmer suicides as they are unable to pay the loans.
It is said that farmers are banking on loan waiver after 2014 elections to come out of the financial mess. As of now, Congress is not advocating it as they are in ruling. TDP and YSRCP are taking this issue but Chandra Babu Naidu is front runner in taking it to the people. Any leader who manages to convince farmers about a possible loan waiver will blanket majority seats at least in the Seema Andhra region.
