BJP high command seem to have concentrated on reforming Telangana unit. T-BJP is a failure despite there is a vacuum in the opposition space of the state. It is of the opinion current President Kishan Reddy has done very little to strengthen the party in the newest state of the country. Kishan Reddy’s term is ending anyway and so the party high command wants to replace him with a strong candidate.

Earlier they said MLC Gattu Ramachander Rao is almost finalized for the post but now all of sudden Nagam Janardhan Reddy’s name cropped up. From some time, Nagam is operately separate under the name of Telangana Bachao mission. But he never announced quitting the party. The high command is of the opinion that an aggressive person like Nagam will steady the boat in Telangana.
Also with his experience in TDP, Nagam may bring in some TDP cader as well to the party. It is also said that Kishan Reddy is also supporting Nagam’s candidature. Gattu Ramachander Rao’s team also intensified their trials for the coveted party position. We will have to see what the BJP high command finally decides!
