There are reports all of sudden that Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is contemplating to quit active politics. Botsa played a very vital role in Congress in the Erstwhile Congress but could not replicate the same after the state division.
Jagan Mohan Reddy made him a minister but he is mostly inactive in the government as well as the party. He is just confined to making some random statements every now and then. He is unable to get into the close coterie of the Chief Minister. Buzz is that Botsa is contemplating retirement.
Rumors are that he wants to go to Rajya Sabha next year so that he would be away from active politics. If that really happens, it will be a big surprise because Botsa always saw himself as a contender for the Chief Minister post ever since the demise of YSR.
Only a few days ago, there were rumors that Botsa may shift to BJP. Are these retirement rumors planted to curb those rumors? If he downgrades himself from CM Chair to Retirement, it will really come as a surprise.
