Minister Botsa Satyanarayana recently underwent heart surgery in a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. He was advised to rest in the hospital itself for a month.
One month of rest in the hospital indicates it is a serious problem.
That means Botsa can not discharge his duties as a Minister during this one month.
There are doubts if he can be active on the ground as well with elections just four months to go in Andhra Pradesh.
At this juncture, there are rumors in the constituency that Jagan may make changes in his cabinet since Botsa is handling the important Education portfolio.
Also, there are rumors that Botsa will withdraw from the election and nominate some family members in his place.
Botsa is a three-time MLA from Cheepurupalli. He was elected as an MP (from Bobbili) too previously.
From TDP, Kimidi Nagarjuna, son of TDP Senior leader Kimidi Mrunalini is the contestant for Cheepurupalli. The young leader is actively working on the ground to win the constituency in 2024 at any cost.
