Center Tries to Strangle Polavaram Finances!

As a part of its Vendetta tactics, Central Government is trying to strangle the finances of the Polavaram Project. Earlier Union Water Resources had recommended for a NABARD loan of 1794.37 Crore to the Union Finance Ministry.

But then, the Finance Ministry has only allowed the loan for 1400 Crore. Even after the loan is sanctioned, the Union Water Resources Ministry interfered in the last minute and only allowed 1089 Crore much to the distress of the state government.

This amount is towards the expenditure already made by the state government towards the project. After the Telugu Desam Party coming out of the NDA and pushing for a No-Confidence Motion on the Central Government, this is very much expected.
