In the process, the officials have written letters to American EV giant, Tesla and a few other companies, highlighting the state’s friendly environment for setting up industries and supportive government policies.

In the last few years, many industries withdrew their investment plans in Andhra Pradesh due to the negligent and arrogant governance of the YSR Congress Party. Thus, the new government had to start everything from scratch once again.

Government officials are checking the investment deals made before 2019. They want to see if companies have started working in the state or have left. If companies have left, they are looking into why.

The previous government announced that agreements worth Rs. 13.12 lakh crores were made during the investment summit held in Vishakapatnam in the past. The officials are reaching out to those companies as well.

The officials are discussing the obstacles behind the grounding of investments, finding solutions and identifying if the government’s involvement is needed.

The government’s major goal is to promote Andhra Pradesh as an investor-friendly state with investor-friendly leadership.

Meanwhile, the Economic Development Board (EDB) has collected data on companies interested in investing in Andhra Pradesh.

Almost 50 new companies are planning to invest in the state. Meanwhile, officials are prioritizing companies that can set up operations quickly and are contacting them.

Especially, focus is on the investments coming from the Arab companies. Government officials are also contacting companies that have long-term plans of investing in the state and are negotiating with them.

On the whole, the new government is trying its best to make Andhra Pradesh an investment-friendly state for companies across all sectors.
