The makers of Happy Journey have taken a decision to hold early screenings. While the film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 18, audiences in Hyderabad and Vizag will get to watch it three days earlier through special premiere shows. The screenings are planned for September 15 at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad and AAA Cinemas in Vizag, with the makers considering a few more special shows as well.
For Happy Journey, the timing could be more than just an early screening plan. It appears to be an attempt to generate discussion around the film before its actual release. A positive response from the first set of viewers could lead to social media discussions and word of mouth, potentially helping the movie reach a wider audience.
The film comes with a relatively fresh combination of a female-centric storyline and a travel backdrop. Abhiramm Naidu is making his directorial debut with the project, which is produced by Balaji Gutta and Koushik Reddy under Gutta Productions and Kamalakar Film Corporation.
The trailer has already generated interest, and the early premieres now give the team an opportunity to build on that curiosity through audience responses.
