Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu seems to be the only Chief Minister in the country to understand and appreciate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to combat Black Money. The demonetization is deemed as the first step for bringing a Cash-less society which will make sure all the money in the country is accounted.

All the Chief Ministers are agitated about the sudden move as it is affecting the state finances. It will also bring other political problems to them as their funding persons are being affected. We do not know what are the concerns for Naidu but then he is already in work for the Cashless economy.
Naidu had announced introducing Swipe machines at all fair price shops in the state. The government is already in the process of tying up with various e-wallets for the collection of various bills from the people. The aim is to extend these services to all government works so that all the payments will be made online in years to come.
The e-wallets and swiping are still at a nascent stage even in Towns and Cities. It has to go a long way to reach the Rural Junta. The governments have to do big work to make that happen. As of now, Naidu is the only Chief Minister who is dreaming that far.
To help citizens pay electricity bills in cashless way & embrace technology, AP Govt has tied up with digital wallet firm @MobiKwik.
