Andhra Pradesh is preparing for the upcoming local body elections, which are barely a few weeks from now and the political atmosphere starting to heat up. There could be very little competition from YSR Congress, which is struggling to hold its ground, but the battle might be within the NDA alliance itself.
It should be a tough proposition for the TDP, JSP and the BJP to sort the seat allocation within themselves considering the competition.
JanaSena’s Nadendla Manohar has said the party chief of Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that JSP will fight for all its worth in the coming local body election. The chances are the JSP could be firm on the demand for the number of seats that they would be getting in the upcoming local polls.
It is natural for JSP to be confident on this, considering their good performance in the earlier assembly election. But the numbers game will have to be dealt with maturity and this is where Chandrababu might come to play.
Chandrababu is a season expert and he will certainly know what needs to be done with the seat allocation. There might be a few disagreements here and there, but the synchrony of the TDP and JSP alliance cannot be meddled with something as little as the local body polls.
So the chances of that Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan might solve this matter amicably without much fuss. At the end of the day, is the TDP, which will have to make the sacrifice despite being the biggest party and also having the biggest cadre.
