The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan has successfully completed a shoulder surgery and is currently recovering from the same. He was treated at the famous Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai and is currently getting post surgical treatment.
However, an ugly social media attack is being orchestrated against Pawan Kalyan’s surgery, as pathetic as it may sound.
There are multiple social media posts, which say Pawan Kalyan spent government money for this surgery while a few others question the need to go to Mumbai while there are speciality hospitals in AP and Telangana.
In response to this, certain janasena affiliated social media handles have been saying that Pawan Kalyan used his own money for the surgery, and did not use a single rupee from the state exchequer.
Further, it was added that Kalyan opted to go to Mumbai for the treatment in order to avoid disturbing the local crowds here in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. Had he been admitted in a hospital in the Telugu states there would have been a large commotion and gathering which could have disturbed the common public out there.
Whatever might be the reason or the defence mechanism to this it is extremely pathetic to see such narratives being built against Kalyan, who is recovering from a medical condition. Beyond political commentary or anything as such, this is personal attack and it is sad to see AP politics get to this point.
