The other day, Telangana TDP sprang a surprise by admitting a strong BC leader like Kaasani Gnaneshwar into the party. There are rumors that Kaasani may be made the party president and the party will be made active.
Last night, Chandrababu Naidu attended a series of review meetings of the party condition in various constituencies until the early hours of today.
There are reports that some other joinings will happen in November’s first week.
TDP is also planning a massive public meeting in Khammam and three other public meetings in various parts of Telangana.
The sudden activity in the TDP camp in Telangana is surprising everyone.
KCR has dropped Telangana from his party’s name and replaced it with Bharat. BRS is now proclaimed as a National Party and it is going to contest in Andhra Pradesh as well.
When KCR himself is contesting in Andhra Pradesh, he can no longer use the ‘Andhra’ plank against Chandrababu in Telangana as he did in the 2018 elections.
This has motivated Chandrababu to reactivate Telangana TDP.
If TDP can play the BC cards wisely, it can start taking baby steps toward redemption.
