Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu responded to the IT notices issue for the first time.
Speaking at an interaction with Teachers, Lawyers, and the Educated at a program in Rayadurgam, Chandrababu responded to the issue for the first time.
“They may arrest me tomorrow or the day after. They may even attack me. They will do all possible arson. They are trying to push the wrongdoing they did onto me. I lived without a single remark for 45 years. Nobody even dared to file a case on me. No one can find evidence against me,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
“YS Rajasekhara Reddy ordered Twenty Six inquiries on me but could do nothing,” the former Chief Minister added.
It was a casual comment of the former Chief Minister. YSR Congress leaders are rejoicing at the comment of ‘arrest’ by Chandrababu Naidu.
IT notices are routine procedures and unlikely to go to the extent of criminal proceedings. Also, the alleged notices are based on some notes found in a search of someone. The department has no evidence whatsoever against Naidu.
The Ruling Party tried to magnify the issue to gain political mileage and has become hopeful after this comment of Naidu.
