Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu is one of the longest serving politicians in the country and he had been serving as the CM of the state for the fourth term now.
But at a personal level, Chandrababu faced an extremely detrimental situation exactly 3 years ago, as he was arrested by the previous Jagan government on September 9, 2023.
Chandrababu has now spoken briefly on this matter as he said this does not break him down as an individual at any capacity. He went to point out that it would not take him more than one minute to take revenge on the people who had gotten him arrested earlier.
“Few people say I am very soft and lenient. It would not take me more than one minute to get the individual arrested and process him. But my method of operation is completely different. Everything I do must be for the good of Telugu people and the betterment of the society.” Chandrababu pointed out.
At the end of the day, politics must not be about slapping thighs and getting each other arrested based on the electoral outcome. At a day and time when politicians frequently warn the police department and government officials of consequences when they come to power, Chandrababu has sat aside this revenge track and is thinking of the communal good.
Even to this day, many politicians speak about vindictive approach and violence that they would set in motion once their gain power. But Chandrababu, despite being in power is open about non violence and his tenacity to stay composed for the collective good.
