TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is currently in Telangana campaigning for the TDP Candidates in the upcoming elections. He has campaigned alongside Congress President Rahul Gandhi as well. Some of the Ministers of Andhra Pradesh were also campaigning and supervising the work in TDP Contesting Constituencies.

But then, Minister Nara Lokesh is totally absent from the campaign in Telangana. Lokesh is busy making visits to various Constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and is tweeting about those visits in his Twitter. He is neither on ground nor talking and tweeting about Telangana Elections. This gives rise to doubts if Naidu is shielding Lokesh from failures.
Lokesh handled the TDP Campaign in GHMC Elections and the party just managed to win one seat in that election making the political opponents take potshots on the Nara Scion. Since then, Lokesh is staying away from the Party Affairs in Telangana. Naidu seems to be becoming Over-Protective of Lokesh. As a result, Lokesh did not face a direct election until now.
Naidu has kept him away from the biggest challenge in Telangana while the TDP Supremo has taken a huge risk himself in allying with the Congress and taking on KCR. Any failure in this election will add one more enemy to him when he faces the election in 2019. But then, one should remember that the fortune always favour the brave and running away from the challenges is never a remedy.
