Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been tested positive for COVID-19. The Opposition leader took to Twitter and made this announcement.
This development has come a day after Naidu’s son and former Minister Nara Lokesh has tested positive.

“I’ve tested positive for COVID with mild symptoms. I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions. I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. Please be safe and take care (sic),” he tweeted.
The 71-year-old leader has been very cautious during the pandemic but had to attend the final rites of a slain party leader in Macherla a few days ago. He also meets Party leaders on a regular basis with strict protocols in place. So, we don’t know how he contracted the virus.
