Chandrababu Naidu’s 2.5 km Padayatra along the beach road in Visakhapatnam has garnered significant success. Thousands of people participated in the padayatra on Tuesday evening at RK Beach Road in the city. Participants enthusiastically chanted slogans like ‘Jai Chandrababu,’ ‘Jai Jai Chandrababu,’ and ‘CM CBN.’ Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday evening to launch the ‘Vision-2047’ document.
He began his padayatra directly from the airport and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait and NTR’s statue before starting the procession at 5:31 pm, accompanied by a large national flag. The padayatra was joined by numerous youths, students, lawyers, prominent individuals from diverse communities and fields, farmers, city residents, and TDP supporters.
Chandrababu Naidu greeted the crowd with a smile as he progressed, engaging with people and even posing for selfies. He took time to interact with some individuals and also took pictures with children. Along the route, many people stood on walls and eagerly captured photos and videos of Chandrababu Naidu.
Due to the massive turnout, the padayatra took around an hour and five minutes to cover the 2.5-kilometer distance. Afterward, Chandrababu Naidu paid respects to the statue of Alluri Sitaramaraju at the Park Hotel Junction before heading to the MGM Ground for the official release of the vision document. Prominent leaders such as Chintakayala Ayyannapatra, Bandaru Satyanarayanamurthy, Palla Srinivasa Rao, MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishnababu, and others also participated in the padayatra.
Both the Jana Sena and TDP have been focusing their efforts on Visakhapatnam ahead of the elections. Pawan Kalyan, leader of Jana Sena, highlighted illegal constructions in Rishi Konda during his stay in the city. Now, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Visakhapatnam under the banner of Vision-2047 aims to raise awareness about the future among the people. These political activities have created a sense of discomfort within the YSRCP camp.
