Nara-Lokesh-challenge-JaganCID officials served notices to TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh in the Inner Ring Road case.

A 41A notice was issued through WhatsApp asking him to attend the hearing at the CID office on October 4 at 10 AM.

Lokesh approached Andhra Pradesh High Court for anticipatory bail in this case. But the Government informed the court that they were not going to arrest him and would only serve 41A notice to question him.

Subsequently, the notices were served today.

41A Notice is served in the cases where the arrest of a person is not required and the person who is served the notice is expected to attend before the investigation officer at an appropriate time and location.

Along with Lokesh, Heritage was also named as the beneficiary in the Inner Ring Road alignment change. Heritage argued in the court that it has purchased the land in March 2014. That is even before the election results were out.
