Nithiin is starring in a romantic entertainer titled Alias Rukmini. Nani is presenting the film under his Unanimous Productions banner, with Deepthi Ganta producing it. Murali Kanth Devasoth is directing the movie, which marks the debut of Aafia Sayed as the female lead.
The movie introduced Krishna as a writer who pens edgy novels using Rukmini as his pen name. The makers then introduced Aafia Sayed as Rukmini, a schoolteacher who is strict, playful and not easy to please. The first single, Rukku Rukku, also received a positive response from listeners.
Now, the makers have revealed Krishna’s look from ten years earlier. In the special video, director Murali is seen talking with Aafia at a decorated home about how Krishna was before meeting her. Nithiin then walks in sporting a pencil moustache, showcasing his transformation.
For the younger version of Krishna, Nithiin underwent a physical transformation and lost considerable weight. The film features Krishna in two different age groups, 30 and 20, raising questions about the character’s journey and the significance of the two looks.
The importance of these different appearances will be revealed in the film, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 4.
