It is a moment of Pride for Andhra People as the Assembly shifted from Hyderabad to Amaravati in less than three years of the state bifurcation. While the people are feeling proud about it, the Opposition is not that happy. YSR Congress is trying to belittle the occasion. The other day, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was telling the media how there are no proper water arrangements in the Assembly.
A sleepy village is transformed into a busy hub to house the legislators all of sudden. In a huge transition, there will be slight issues for some days. As the responsible representatives of the state, they should get on with them and co-operate with the government.
But then it has become a thumb rule for the Opposition Party to criticize anything and everything just for the reason Chandrababu Naidu is at the helm. In the process, they are only belittling the state like the leaders of other states. When do own politicians put self-respect ahead of petty politics?
