TRS is facing the wrath of defections ahead of the Assembly Elections. One MLA and MLC already joined the Congress Party and now another MLC Kompally Yadava Reddy is in talks. Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and Legislative Chairman Swami Goud are also disgruntled with the party high command.

Swami Goud’s tenure is coming to an end and the party wants to replace him with former Speaker, Suresh Reddy who joined the party recently. Vishweshwar Reddy wants to become a minister in the state cabinet and TRS high command would not give him an MLA Ticket. So, he is also not happy.
Minister KTR is in talks with the disgruntled leaders but is of no use. The leaders will disclose their decision after finalizing their seats with Congress. But then, the Main Opposition party will have its own share of problems for accommodating them in the seats of their interest.
Former TRS MLA Babu Mohan already quit the party and joined BJP. TRS is hoping that the same will happen with the Opposition parties as well once their candidates as well. Except for the first list from BJP, no other party in the Opposition did announce a single candidate officially in Telangana. TRS so far announced 107 candidates.
