Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is known for making occasional comments that draw all the negativity in the world. He has come up with something similar again as he defended his former minister’s son who is accused in a murder case.
Earlier, the son of former fisheries minister of AP, Sidiri Appalaraju killed a person on road while driving a bike and this invited a police case. Naturally, the police filed a murder case against this boy who had killed a common man on the road in this freakish bike accident.
However, this did not appear to appease Jagan, as he stuck a political angle to it. He said accidents keep happening on the road and it is not right to file a motor case against 18 year old boy.
“ What does this 18 year old boy know? He was riding the bike and happened to hit a person who died. Does that mean the government can file a case against 18 year old boy? Don’t know that accidents keep happening and people get consequences.”
The fact that Jagan was so blatant while defending his minister’s son who killed a commoner on road with his bike is shocking everyone on social media. This isn’t the kind of generalisation of a road accident killing that is expected from a former CM of the state.
Jagan appeared to be carrying this incident on a surprisingly lighter note and the early reactions on social media have been outrightly negative against Jagan’s approach to such a sensitive matter.
