Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has been a source of entertainment for netizens with her blunderful speeches in Himachal Pradesh ahead of the upcoming elections.
In a rally, she mistakenly targeted her BJP colleague Tejasvi Surya, thinking he was RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Her remarks included a dig at Surya for what she called “hooliganism and fish consumption,” which was hilarious.
Since her nomination by the BJP as the Lok Sabha candidate, Ranaut has been openly critical of the Congress party, aiming at leaders like Vikramaditya Singh and Rahul Gandhi.
During a recent political rally, she claimed, “I get so much respect wherever I go. Be it Rajasthan, Delhi, or Manipur. I can vouch that after Amitabh Bachchan, I am the only one to get so much love and respect in the film industry.”
Meanwhile, Kangana’s last HIT film was in 2014-2015 when the Congress government was still ruling. Since BJP came into power, she hasn’t delivered one single hit.
Except for an average success like Manikarnika, she gave 15 films that were not even flops but washouts. Her last films Dhaakad and Tejas couldn’t even cross the 5-crore mark at the box office and resulted in a 50-60 crore loss for the producers.
It is quite amusing that Kangana still has the audacity to compare herself to a legend like Amitabh Bachchan.
Ranaut’s political fate will be determined on June 1 during the seventh phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, where she is contesting for a seat from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
