Kapu leader from Congress and YSR Congress have joined hand to fight for Mudragada Padmanabham and Kapu Reservations Issue. Interestingly, Chiranjeevi, Dasari and Pallamraju were formerly Union Ministers, Botsa Satyanarayana worked as PCC President twice and state minister for a decade.

Whenever the leaders meet, some one from media make it a point to ask them what they did for Kapu Caste during their tenures. Chiranjeevi last time said Kapu Caste people know about what they did. But after the meeting the other day, Dasari, Chiranjeevi and Botsa refused to answer the question.
Pallamraju however answered it but came up with a strange statement. Pallamraju said that they (Congress) did not get a feeling back then that Kapus need reservation. That showcases the insensitivity of Congress towards Kapu Caste as the reservations demand dates back to 1953 and Congress had that in their manifesto in 2004.
