Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that Kakinada Rural’s sitting MLA Kurasala Kannababu was the major reason behind the dissolving Praja Rajyam Party in Congress.
Kannababu won the Kakinada Rural seat back in 2009, representing the Praja Rajyam party. Later, he switched to YSR Congress Party and won the 2019 elections.
Pawan was at Kakinada Rural today, campaigning for the alliance’s candidate, Patnam Venkateshwara Rao. Speaking at Kakinada Rural today, Pawan Kalyan said that he holds a special relationship with Kannababu.
“In 2008, I was one of the founding members of PRP. Our vision was to dedicate ourselves to serving the community for a lifetime, with a commitment to remain in politics regardless of victory or defeat,” said Pawan.
“Kannababu used to come to the PRP office on a damaged scooter. Since then, he reached great heights. While I have no objection to individuals rising in the political arena, it is unobjectionable is one reaches heights by cheating others,” he added.
He went on to say, “Kannababu was the major reason behind the dissolving PRP in Congress and he’s also the reason why I have been battling from the ground up in politics for the past decade.”
