The teaser of Jo Jo, titled Caution 1, introduces a group of hopefuls drawn to Jonnagiri by the prospect of finding diamonds after rainfall. Set against the region’s rugged landscape, the film builds its premise around the pursuit of sudden fortune, with romance and unusual character interactions adding to the complications.
As the group searches through stones, one man attempts to flirt with a woman, only for their hopes of finding diamonds to take a hit when an examiner dismisses their finds as ordinary stones. While one man insists their luck will eventually turn, the woman responds with “Clean your own ass!” The exchange reflects the teaser’s straightforward humour, where the characters’ ambitions meet reality.
Filmmaker and actor Tharun Bhascker called the teaser an “excellent teaser” after watching it, drawing attention to the film.
Presented by Deva Katta, Jo Jo is written and directed by Kiran Jay Kumar and produced by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni under the Vijayam banner. The story follows two penniless dreamers and a young woman pursuing a life-changing diamond, with romance, greed, betrayal, danger and comic situations complicating their journey. Krishna Kamal plays Seenu, while Maahi Sri portrays Supraja.
With Caution 1, Jo Jo offers an early glimpse of a romantic comedy in which the search for fortune comes with unexpected complications.
