The Presidential Order for the Division of Hyderabad High Court may be delayed further. President of India should give notification for the creation of High Court for Andhra Pradesh under the Section 31 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. The location of the High Court will also be notified in Section 31(2) of the act.

Union Law Ministry sent the draft notification to the Prime Minister’s Office. 28 Judges were divided 11 to Telangana and 14 to Andhra Pradesh. Two other judges and the Chief Justice are yet to be allotted to any state. The Prime Minister’s Office asked the Law Ministry to sent the notification after their allocation is complete.
It has to be seen if the existing Chief Justice will continue to be the Chief Justice of Telangana or if he will be sent to Andhra Pradesh. Anyways, the Center is keen on finishing the Notification Process as soon as possible at the latest by January 1st the next year. The interim High Court Buildings of Andhra Pradesh are being readied in Nelapadu village of Amaravati.
