In the previous hearings of the case, the government had agreed to disclose the revenue share offered by the Original Project Proponent to the qualified bidders one week prior to the bid due date and also to extend the bidding process timeline. Two more companies approached the high court saying that AP government is ignoring them and is opting for foreign companies.
The government counsel told the high court that the companies do not have the experience to handle projects of more than 500 Crore investment. Hearing the arguments, the high court issued a stay on the entire Swiss Challenge Process. The court asked the government to file a counter in this case and posted the next hearing on October 31st.
