There was a shocking incident in Nellore district last night as an RTC bus driver was brutally beaten and assaulted on the road by a few YCP goons. This was after the driver had blown the horn as these men were in the middle of the road, not letting traffic pass through.
Now, the driver, BR Singh has opened up about the incident and he has a gutting story to tell.
“I thought I was dead when I saw so many people beating and assaulting me. I don’t know how I’m alive. I thank god for keeping me alive.” He said.
The RTC driver added that he has the photos and videos of all 14 people who attacked him mercilessly and says he will fight till all of them get punished for what they did. “If the police don’t cooperate, I will go to court. There is no way I will let go off these people.”
There is a widespread talk on social media that these people are affiliated with the ruling party in the state, YSRC. Nara Lokesh tweeted and talked about this heartbreaking incident after meeting his father at Rajahmundry jail.
RTC union is now calling for protests across the state to make sure that the culprits are bought under the law and face the legal consequences for their acts.
