Sunrisers Hyderabad faced a gutting defeat in their first game of the tournament against Kolkata Knight Riders. But the team is having to recover quickly from this defeat as they are taking on Mumbai Indians today.
Of the 21 times that the two teams faced each other in the past, Mumbai won 12 games while SRH won 9. But this will account for very little in the game today as both the teams lost their opening games of the tournament and are awaiting their first win.
Hyderabad will be taking on Mumbai at the Uppal Stadium and the pitch here is known to be a neutral one.
SRH has, perhaps what could be called its most balanced side to date with a humongous international talent pool and red-hot firing Klaasen. So, the chances of SRH posing a formidable challenge to Mumbai, if not toppling them as a whole are very bright.
Mumbai, on the other hand are grappling with internal issues amidst complains about the lack of team chemistry internally after Hardik Pandya took charge as the new captain. The game will be kickstarting at 7:30 PM today.
