Finally, it happened. That move that has been expected from AIADMK had happened. Pannerselvam put down his papers resigning to the Tamilnadu CM post, making a way for Sasikala to host the Tamilnadu Cheif Minister job.

Panner himself proposed Sasikala to be the next CM of Tamilnadu. Reports say that this decision which has been making rounds for a long time as rumors on social media have been taken in Poes garden today. Not just that, Sasikala has also been appointed as the legislative leader of AIADMK. There are speculations that Sasikala would be taking the oath as CM in a couple of days.
AIADMK official twitter page tweeted “It was Thiru.O. Paneerselvam who insisted first, that I become the Chief Minister of the State”- Chinnamma. One can now assume with the tweet that Sasikala too is ready to take charge as the lead of Tamilnadu now.
