Media sources are abuzz that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had extended hand of friendship to BJP. Sources say that Jagan took up the issue with Amit Shah when he called for YSR Congress’ Support in the upcoming Vice-President Election.

Jagan went on to say that since YSR Congress supported BJP Candidates in President and Vice-President Elections, they are looking forward to joining the government at the center. Jagan also asked to take Vijaya Sai Reddy into the Union Cabinet in the place of Venkaiah Naidu who is vacating.
Amit Shah was reportedly stunned by this offer and told to Jagan that he will get back on this. If these reports are true and if the alliance materializes in the way Jagan is expecting, it will be a big sensation. The alliance will have its own repercussions politically and taking Vijaya Sai Reddy, A2 is several Corruption Cases can be trouble for BJP as well.
But then, if it happens, Jagan is likely to get immunity from various corruption cases hounding him and he can peacefully go for the next elections. But an alliance with BJP will mean that YSR Congress will be losing the support of minorities which will be the big setback.
