YS Jaganmohan Reddy is known for his perseverance for constant public connection and mass outreach. This is perhaps one of the main reasons why he likes to have a crowd constantly beside him all the time, regardless of the occasion or the sensitivity of the same.
Today, Jagan was supposed to go to Srikakulam to visit jailed former cabinet minister Seediri Appalaraju, who has been arrested in connection with the case where his son had killed a common man in freakish bike accident.
However, Jagan being the irrevocably monotonous politician that he is, he prioritised public pooling more than the actual purpose. He took the roadway from Vizag to Srikakulam, which resulted in massive traffic conjunctions and blockages.
The ultimate result was that Jagan could not make it to Srikakulam jail on time and this defeated the whole purpose of his visit. He could not make it to the jail premises on time, and the Jail officials declined his supposed mulaqat with Appala Raju on legal grounds.
Jagan then took the familiar route of addressing the media and he was usually redundant with the same. A questioned the police officials and government for arresting 18 year-old boy in a bike accident case saying this is very common, as preposterous as it may sound.
