Jagan’s Ganesh Pooja, Discussion Again On Bharathi!

Jagan performs Ganesh Pooja at Tadepalli

Today marks the celebration of Vinayaka Chavithi, one of the most important Hindu festivals across India. Former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy used the occasion to address ongoing discussions around his potential Tirumala visit without submitting a declaration.

Jagan took part in Ganesh Pooja held at the YSRCP Party Headquarters in Tadepalli. He was initially scheduled to attend the Pooja at Rani Gari Thota in Vijayawada, but heavy rains in the city forced a last-minute cancellation.

During the ceremony, Jagan was joined by YSRCP leaders Vellampalli Srinivas, Lella Appireddy, Devineni Avinash, Malladi Vishnu, and others. Special prayers were offered, and Jagan was seen chanting mantras. Priests later distributed prasadam to the attendees.

The entire pooja was streamed live on YouTube. Photos and videos have since gone viral on social media, with many users closely analysing Jagan’s gestures during the rituals.

From whether he sincerely performed the Pooja to whether he accepted the prasadam, every frame is being observed. Questions have also resurfaced about why his wife, Bharathi Reddy, was absent from the ritual, a topic often discussed during such occasions.

Though it is widely known that Jagan Mohan Reddy follows Christianity, he occasionally participates in Hindu rituals, likely aiming to connect with the Hindu voter base. Meanwhile, Bharathi Reddy, a devout Christian known for her preaching, usually stays away from such events.

As YSR Congress attempts to present a Hindu-friendly image of Jagan’s family, critics continue to examine every move to counter that narrative.
