Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is leaving no chance of troubling Chandrababu Naidu even in jail. Every Jail Inmate can have two legal Mulakaths per day, according to the Manual. But then, Rajahmundry Central Jail authorities have reduced the Mulakaths of Chandrababu from two to one.
They say other inmates in the jail are facing inconvenience due to the frequent meetings of Naidu.
Naidu is fighting a prolonged legal battle. There are many petitions being heard in the ACB Court, High Court, and Supreme Court.
But the legal Mulakaths were reduced in the name of a flimsy reason. Already the family members are being given only two Mulakaths instead of three even when Chandrababu Naidu is unwell.
Buzz is that those in the Government suspect that Naidu is passing on crucial information about how to run the party and how to handle various issues in the constituencies through his lawyers.
The Government apparently wants to ensure that there is no communication from the Jail and to the jail. Also, Telangana Elections are around the corner. So, everything is being done to cut Chandrababu’s influence.
