A Popular Media house had reported that Telangana ACB had filed a petition in Supreme Court over the Cash for Vote case in the first week of this month. One of the accused in this case, Jerusalem Mattaiah approached Hyderabad high court alleging that he was falsely implied in this case and is being harassed.

The court struck the allegations on Mattaiah and granted him relief from the case. If the other accused, Revanth Reddy, the Working President of TDP (TS) is also likely to approach the court and get relief. Telangana government and ACB would not want that to happen for obvious political reasons.
And so, they have knocked the door of high court to frame him. ACB is expecting a favourable judgement from the apex court in this case. The case investigation had slowed down significantly for various reasons but still KCR would not want Revanth Reddy to go off the hook and so is still pursuing the case.
