TRS has to win this election at any cost to ensure that Congress does not get teeth before 2019 elections. A win here will make Revanth Reddy a potential CM candidate, his supporters feel and so he will be giving more than 100% there.
KCR will be aping Naidu’s Plan in Nandhyal By-Election. Naidu devised a news political management scheme in Nandhyal in which the government dumped funds for the development and also catered to the needs of all the sections.
With perfect planning, Naidu decimated YSR Congress in its stronghold and got a record majority win in Nandhyal. The TRS Supremo is of the opinion that mimicking the same formula will work in Kodangal as well and will act as the right medicine for TRS ahead of the General Elections in 2019.
