The terms ‘Kodi Kathi’ and ‘Babai Murdered’ are extensively heard in Andhra Pradesh political space. This time around, these terms are associated with a shocking crime at Jangareddy Gudem, Andhra Pradesh.
Going into the story, Srinivas (23), and his Babai Balaji (27), both natives of Jangareddy Gudem are arch rivals. They have been on bad terms for many years now.
They decided it is time to settle their disputes and then set up a meeting at Gandhi Statue Circle. But incidentally, a fight broke out again here during the time of settlement.
Srinivas then lost control and stabbed his uncle Balaji with the Kodi Kathi that he bought with himself. He stabbed Balaji several times on the road, and the victim suffered extreme blood loss as a result of the same.
Balaji then lost his life due to the stabbings. The police were called into action and they then took Srinivas into custody. Balaji is survived by his wife and two kids.
This way, the terms ‘Kodi Kathi’ and Babai murder are back in the news again.
